Full lunar eclipse tonight

Last night we had dinner at Bistro Q, a casual place at the south tip of Cayuga Lake with tasty southern BBQ dishes. Our server sounded French Canadian so I asked, and he’s Serbian with a New York accent! Wow.

When we left there was a full moon overhead.

And I saw this morning that for an full hour tonight there will be a total eclipse. The moon turns bright red / orange. This will happen beginning at 9:14 p.m. EDT (6:14 p.m. PDT).

As we were looking up at the moon last night, Matt noticed, through a window, a sign inside Bistro Q:

So I wonder what goes down on these nude cruises. :P

Anyone been?

  1. This is unrelated to the awesome eclipse, but I’m delighted to find another Ithaca blog! I’m a Cornell 2006 student.

  2. Hey Elliot, excellent to see you! Though I’ve gotta say you’re the first IE evangelist I’ve seen. I noticed you’re getting plenty enough criticism for it in you’re blog. :)
