I’m a Bootrepreneur!
04 February 2005 | filed under Arts & MusicAs I mentioned previously I’ve been making crochet mocassins. I’ve auctioned a few pair on eBay and have sold two so far. Of course every pair is different, so I can be creative with the yarns and colours I use for each design.
This is a pair I sold:

The woman who bought them is loving them large, which makes me a very happy camper.
So far I’ve been using suede and leather for the soles, but yesterday ordered some cat’s paw rubber to try something different. By the way I highly recommend Cobbler’s Cottage on Elmira Rd for shoe shopping and repair. They carry high-quality, unusual footwear and bags. That’s where I’m getting the rubber.
Also my favorite yarn these days is Lamb’s Pride in bulky weight, made by Brown Sheep Co. The colours are fantastic!

I have these boots too, in lovely shades of pink and turquoise and man they are Super Warm and Snug. I love the hearts in these ones! TiJo rocks! hard!
